About the role
our startup is hiring a senior backend developer to apis, services, and data layers built to scale. You'll own features end to end, work directly with the founding team, and ship to production regularly.

What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship production features across our stack
- Collaborate async and in a daily standup during US-overlap hours
- Own quality — testing, code review, and reliability
- Work with modern, AI-native tooling (Cursor, Claude, agents)

What we're looking for
- 5–8 years building production software
- Strong experience with: Node.js, Python, Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC
- Clear written and spoken English
- Ownership mindset — comfortable making decisions with limited direction

Nice to have
- Startup or 0→1 product experience
- Open-source contributions or side projects
